About the "Hope in Alabama" book project...
Rocky Heights Print and Binding is a full service printing company located in Pelham, Alabama. We produce all types of paperback, hardback, coiled and saddle stitch books; fliers and other printed material in-house for individuals, authors, businesses, churches and community organizations. As a central Alabama based business, our employees and customers were personally effected by the tragic events of April 27, 2011. As a company we committed to respond together to help our friends and our communities. Rocky Heights Print and Binding, in conjunction with Cox Broadcasting, Hands on Birmingham and Christian Service Mission are working together to collect, organize and publish a collection of stories and pictures from Alabamians who experienced these terrible events, and who witnessed the amazing outpouring of help and support from their neighbors and across the United States. The result of this collaboration is a beautiful three book "Hope in Alabama" collection. A large portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to charitable organizations who are assisting the recovery in our state.

Christian Service Mission was established in 1970 by Johnny Lynch, a born-again Christian truck driver and volunteer for Jimmy Hale Mission. Mr. Lynch opened a small mission on the southside of Birmingham and was there until the mid '80s. From this small mission came Hannah Home for abused women and their children, and Bethany Home for troubled women. Later the homes were transferred to The King's Ranch while CSM continued its food programs.Christian Service Mission has entered a new era with a new vision for the next forty years. We see CSM as a valued partner with organizations that are transforming our City. Our slogan is "Connecting Resources with Needs."
